Love People Foundation: providing food, shelter and family to the street children of Mityana, Uganda.

Street children are some of the most vulnerable people on the planet. Street children lack access to food, shelter, protection, health and education.
LPF takes action so that Mityana's street children have healthcare, food, shelter, and access to learning. We are committed to all children achieving their full potential by ensuring they grow up healthy, educated, safe and knowing God's Love.
Who Are We?

Love People Foundation is a Ugandan non-profit community-based organization (CBO) launched in 2021 with registration number BUS.DIV/282/2021.
LPF was established by two brothers, Julius Kafumbe and Nicholas Ssuubi, both street children themselves.
With a burning desire to show the message of God's Love and Hope, the brothers started LPF to provide outreach and support to the children and young people living in vulnerability, poverty and fear on the streets of Mityana.
LPF's small, dedicated staff house, feed and nurture the children and young people in their care, providing them with a sense of family and community, and opportunities for education, personal development, Scripture and Bible study and recreation. In this way, the children can be ensured of a brighter and better future.

Homeless Outreach
Helping vulnerable children stay healthy, happy and safe.
Homeless Outreach is something that we take very seriously, and our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact.
We welcome and gather homeless and street children regardless of physical, racial and religious differences. We believe that with access to the right resources, these children can discover their abilities and gain the confidence and skills to fulfill their potential.

With LPF's core values always in mind, we ensure that food donations are shared between the children and wider community, helping to combat widespread food scarcity and malnutrition

At LOVE PEOPLE FOUNDATION, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing this issue.
Health Care provision and extension is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area.
This is a matter that it's budget can't be formulated until that very scenario when someone falls ill. So being that it's miscellaneous, it requires emergency funding.
We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to actively engage and participate in this cause with your support.
Girl Child Empowerment.
Uplifting the female young generation in Uganda.
With this initiative, our goal is to promote great opportunities for the girls and do more in standardizing their livelihood.
With access to the right resources, these girls and many more can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential.

Educational Sponsorship.
Shaping future African leaders through education.
Every Child should have access to education and with our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with this challenge.
Education is another thing we take very seriously, and our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact in this area.
With the on and off opening up of schools here and elsewhere in the world due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we actively participate in teaching and equipping these children with knowledge being that;"Knowledge is the beginning of wisdom."

Clean and Safe Water Provision and Extension.
Helping Communities access clean water.
Many communities in Uganda have a problem of limited clean water supply and as well limited access to improved water collection points plus being that piped water is a bit expensive to many families.
This puts these people's lives in danger of covering longer distances to collect water and extremely higher chances of acquiring water borne diseases like bilharzia, diarrhoea, dysentery, cholera and death.
At LOVE PEOPLE FOUNDATION, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing this issue. Being that, "Water is life," it's fundamental in every life.
We hope to extend clean water collection points in many communities, construct boleholes, rehabilitate community wells and extend piped water to many individual deprived families.
All this is by no means an easy feat, but through your cooperation, sponsorship and partnership, we strongly believe we can facilitate progress in this area.

"When communities get access to clean water, this changes everything." It improves health and living standards, boosts economic growth and education, increases food supply among communities, helps children spend more time at school and above all, calls for a descent livelihood.

The proverb: "It takes a village to raise a child" is close to out heart. It means that an entire community of people must provide for and interact positively with children for them to experience and grow in a safe and healthy environment.
To make this possible, LPF's outreach extends to the aged, the illiterate, single mothers, widows, unemployed youths and deprived families in our community.
